We are looking to recruit a Principal Engineer who will play a key role in shaping and implementing the changes and improvements required to transform the service provision of technology services across the University. As a Principal Engineer you will be responsible for effective operational IT Service Delivery ensuring services are managed in accordance with agreed service levels, standards and policies. Principal Developer (HR)
We are looking for a Principal Developer who will be responsible for effective operational IT Service Delivery within your area, ensuring services are managed in accordance with agreed service levels, standards and policies.
Working with the DDaT Portfolio team, you will be responsible for the effective planning and delivery of the DDaT Projects Portfolio, ensuring alignment to the agreed organisational priorities and adherence to the agreed project delivery and assurance framework. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the teams within your area to ensure they have the resources and capabilities required and are working in collaboration with colleagues across the department to enable effective IT Service Delivery across operational services and projects.

Research Infrastructure Engineer
Do you have a background in system change management and improving existing systems and processes?
We are looking for a Research Infrastructure Engineer who will methodically analyse and improve existing systems and processes, ensuring their security and performance. You will ensure systems change management is carried out in accordance with agreed standards and procedures, creating and managing software test and development environments. You will therefore design, script, code, test and document the deployment and development of Open Source commercial and custom software using agreed standards and tools to achieve well-engineered bespoke systems, especially when linking existing systems or providing novel interfaces to existing data.
