Type of degree
2:1 or above (or its international equivalent). Your degree can be in any discipline but you must have studied a subject with high quantitative content.
You will be better suited to this course if you have studied business or management, or studied a subject with high quantitative content, such as:
- mathematics/statistics
- computer science
- engineering
- physics
- a quantitative social science
If you are a UK student and completed your undergraduate degree abroad, your qualification must be equivalent to a 2:1 or above.
Programming experience
Previous experience of computer programming is an advantage. You should include information about your quantitative and programming experience in your personal statement.
Work experience
In exceptional cases, relevant work experience may be a substitute for the degree requirement. You should have no more than three years’ relevant work experience.
