Join us for a free day of activities, to learn about studying at university, the careers a computer science degree can lead to and more.

The Department of Computer Science at the University of Bath is pleased to host a free event aimed at Year 12 students with an interest in computer science and currently studying Mathematics A-Level or equivalent.

The event will feature workshops and activities designed to explore what computer science is and to demonstrate the opportunities a degree in the subject can lead to.

What to expect

10:45 - 12:05 A range of workshops run by our teaching staff, researchers and students
12:05 - 12:45 Campus tour with our Student Ambassadors followed by lunch
12:45 - 13:05 University of Bath computer science programmes overview
13:15 - 14:05 A range of workshops run by our teaching staff, researchers and students
14:15 - 15:00 Careers & employability session to explore opportunities a degree in computer science can lead to, the placement year and employability

Accommodation

If you wish to stay overnight on Thursday 4 July and/or Friday 5 July, campus accommodation is usually available. Please email campus-events-team@bath.ac.uk for more information and to make a booking.
