Join fellow Bath graduates and offer holders on Thursday 9 April 2026 at The InterContinental Beijing Sanlitun Hotel from 6.30pm for a special reception.
The evening will be a relaxed opportunity to reconnect with Bath and to:
- Hear the latest news from the University
- Meet fellow alumni and guests in the region
- Welcome prospective students to our community
The evening will be hosted by Vice-Chancellor and President, Professor Phil Taylor, at his first alumni event in Beijing.
Professor Taylor took up his position in Bath on 1 August 2024 and was previously at the University of Bristol, where he was Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Research and Enterprise. Professor Phil Taylor is a globally recognised researcher and industrial expert in energy systems with over 30 years of experience in both industry and academia. He will be accompanied by senior colleagues:

- Dr Pete Nuttall (Interim Associate Pro Vice Chancellor, Global Engagement)
- Dörte Stevenson (Director of International Relations)

This is a networking event. Drinks and canapes will be served.
Registration closes midday on Thursday 26 March 2026, or when all places have been booked. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Alumni and offer holders are welcome to bring a guest. Please register yourself and your guest to attend.
