Receiving the report
The Training Compliance Report lists the mandatory and recommended training activities for all members of staff.
Training activities are undertaken in a variety of ways, some are online courses and others are by class attendance.
You will receive the report on the first working day of each month if you are a Head of Department or Line Manager. If you have not received the report but think you should, please check your 'Junk' folder. If the report email is not there, contact us to ask for the report to be sent each month.
What to do when you recieve the report
When you receive the report you should contact members of staff (or their Line Manager) to highlight which training they need to complete. If necessary, you should also set target dates for each person to complete the courses.
Some courses are mandatory for staff in a specific job family. A job family is a group of jobs with similar characteristics and which are engaged in similar work. Although the level of responsibility, skill or competence will differ, the essential nature of activities carried out is similar across the job family.
What to do if the data contained within the report is wrong
Correcting Course Information
If any information relating to a specific course or activity is wrong, please contact the Course Owner who will be able to provide further guidance.
Updating Reporting Lines
The report is created using the reporting lines as reflected within iTrent at the time the report is run. If the reporting lines need to be updated, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with the details of the change required.
Reviewing Individual training records
If you are a Line Manager, you can view the individual training records for your direct reports through Manager Self Service.
You can check the reports at any time, so you don't need to wait for the Training Compliance Report.
