Join us in this newly created role where you will play a key role in supporting the team. Working collaboratively with a range of colleagues you will enjoy working in a research-led environment where you can help shape our systems and processes.

About the role:

You will help coordinate our programme of work, supporting the Principal Investigator (PI) and core team. Supporting the development and implementation of systems and processes for the project you will work to ensure compliance with governance and regulations. and to successful help the consortium deliver its goals. You will assist in the project wide storage and management of data, support expenditure monitoring and reporting, ensuring funder and internal requirements are met. 

Working collaboratively with colleagues across the consortium, you will be a point of contact for external partners and other stakeholders. Enabling our research to be visible and accessible, you will support our public engagement and impact activities, and maintaining web and social media outlets. 

About you:

You will have experience in a research administrator role, working collaboratively with multiple partners, including patients and the public and project management/planning. You will also have:

  • A degree in a relevant related area or equivalent is a requirement (e.g., psychology)
  • Experience in providing administrative support, including developing and implementing systems and processes. 
  • Project management experience, including event planning and management
  • Effective communication skills including using social media to communicate with a range of audiences 
  • Knowledge of research governance and data management, and/or financial process and budget management would also be an advantage.

About us:

The Centre is leading a newly established multi-institutional consortium that seeks to better understand how psychosocial mechanisms impact on chronic pain. The role is part of the Advanced Pain Discovery Platform, which is funded by UKRI and Verses Arthritis. 

Based in the Department of Psychology, you will work with the Prinicpal Investigator, Professor Edmund Keogh in Psychology, and will support the work led by Bath.
