Graduate Teaching Assistant
This fixed term post is intended to make an important contribution to the teaching of undergraduate students in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and will cover Semester 1 weeks 1 - 13. Successful applicants will assist within a teaching team and work within an established teaching programme under the general supervision of the unit convenor. They will manage and deliver teaching activities and prioritise their own workload within agreed objectives, ensure that all activities are completed to deadlines, and provide feedback to students with appropriate supervision. In addition, successful applicants will show a willingness to build on previous experience and use critical evaluation of professional practice to develop skills and knowledge.
