CRM Manager

We are searching for an experienced and hard-working CRM professional to manage the systems and tools system which support our student recruitment and conversion activities.

Our CRM system, Microsoft Dynamics 365, has integrations with third-party systems including Click Dimensions and Gecko.

Based in the Marketing Department, you will lead all aspects of the CRM including system development, functionality, processes and protocols. The number of projects where CRM plays a central role is growing and you will lead on all future development, whether for Dynamics or one of our other third-party systems.

The successful applicant will have the scope to make a significant impact on the future of the use of CRM within the University and the business processes it supports. Our ideal candidate will thrive in an environment where development and efficiency gains are encouraged, and where the impact of your work can be significant and immediate.

Working with the CRM Data Officer, you will liaise regularly with stakeholders and users – including senior leaders – where you will provide expertise and insight to CRM users. Working with our colleagues in Recruitment, Admissions, Marketing, our three Faculties and the School of Management, to ensure the system is providing them with the functionality, data and analysis they need to communicate effectively with prospective students.

You will be the CRM champion within the institution and will be responsible for training your colleagues and providing guidance documentation. As well as strong attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively, you will need to be comfortable managing competing requests and using your judgement to prioritise appropriately.

You will have experience in negotiating and influencing across an organisation, making sure stakeholders understand your area of work and how it can help them. You will have a key role in the planning and coordination of applicant communications across the institution and will be responsible for managing our compliance with GDPR.

As the primary user in the business, you will be responsible for providing business context and articulating development and maintenance requirements to colleagues in our Digital, Data and Technology team who are responsible for technical system support. Managing this relationship effectively will be critical to your success.
