This is an exciting opportunity to join the Students’ Union’s Activities Team in providing a range of administrative support to our many Societies, as well as some occasional support to other student led volunteer groups. 

We are looking for someone with a good track record in administration type duties, with previous experience of working in a busy, team environment. The post holder will also be required to deal with a range of students on a face to face basis.

The role requires an individual who works well in pressured situations where deadlines need to be met, whilst also helping students dropping into the office on an ad-hoc basis. 

You will be able to work independently and calmly under pressure, yet work well as part of a team and have strong time management and interpersonal skills.

Reporting to the Volunteer and Societies Manager, you will be working as part of the Activities team, linking particularly with the Societies Coordinator.

You will be part of a team that ensures our key services are student led and reflect our values.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, the internet and social media are essential.
