We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic individual to undertake a one year research project to develop an automated algorithm to automatically quantify structural damage on plain radiographs in Psoriatic Arthritis.

You will join an established cross-discipline academic group linking musculoskeletal research in the department of Pharmacy and Pharmacology and will have regular contact with collaborators in the department of Mathematics and Computer Science.

You must have (or submitted) a PhD and have significant depth and breadth of specialist knowledge in shape segmentation modelling Psoriatic Arthritis outcomes research, image recognition and be proficient in advanced mathematical modelling techniques.

You will need excellent interpersonal and communication skills to enable cross-discipline working and disseminate results at clinical and academic conferences. You will need to organise and prioritise the workload to meet deadlines and be proficient in IT skills and will require the ability to think creatively, be self motivated and be committed to excellence in research.
