We invite applications for the position of Project Manager for the 2020 Royal Astronomical Society National Astronomy Meeting NAM2020.

This is an annual conference co-sponsored and organised in collaboration with the Royal Astronomical Society that attracts the nation’s astronomers, astrophysicists and space scientists to present and discuss cutting edge topics in research, technology development and policy.

NAM2020 will be hosted at the University of Bath (12-17 July) and will celebrate the 200th Anniversary of the founding of Society in 1820, whose first President was Sir William Herschel.

The main purpose of the post is to manage and oversee the organisation of the conference; this will include liaising across the high-level steering/advisory groups and their delegates, and regular financial and planning reporting to the RAS and the University as we work towards the delivery of the conference.

This is a part-time role (18.5 hours per week) on a fixed-term basis until August 2020.

The closing date for this job opportunity has now passed, and applications are no longer being accepted for this position
