We are currently looking for a Kitchen Supervisor to join the award-winning Bars & Events Department at the Students' Union Bath.

You will be expected to play a critical role in running the day-to-day operation of the SU Bar Kitchen. You’ll have a passion for customer service, experience in supervision and great communication and organisational skills. You will lead a young team so experience in training is vital. 

As a department we run a diverse programme of events throughout the year as well as a successful bar, food and Starbucks operation. Regular events include pub quizzes, cocktail nights and games nights as well as two weekly club nights in our 1200 capacity nightclub. We also host the Students’ Union large scale events such as Freshers' Week and the Summer Ball.

You will work an average of 36.5 hours per week. As our busiest times are weekdays, Monday to Friday, though rotas will be subject to business needs. Part-time hours could also be considered (minimum of 25 hours per week).

We offer a competitive rate of pay, up to 25 days annual leave, 8 bank holidays and a further 5 discretionary days, plus we close over the Christmas period, all of which is paid for!!
