We are looking to recruit a Lead Physiotherapist who has previous experience of leading and managing a team and working with performance athletes and other sports related groups and individuals. The purpose of the role is to lead the development of the Physiotherapy strand within the Performance Support Team (PST) delivering to elite athletes and to the student performance sports.

About you:

Your delivery will need to be of high quality, be interdisciplinary and integrated to the other strands of Performance Support Team (PST) where relevant. Positive engagement with the other Lead Practitioners and staff within the PST, as well as with performance coaches will be essential. From time to time you may be asked to facilitate continued professional development activities. 

You will need to be an advocate for The Bath Way: 

  • Provide progression along the performance pathway
  • Achieve on field success at national and international level
  • Holistically develop student athletes
  • Contribute to student recruitment
  • Enhance profile and reputation
  • Generate investment and resource from partners 
  • Working with Practitioners of all disciplines and Head coaches to form and maintain excellent inter-disciplinary working within the sports, to attend regular IDT meetings, input into the performance sports dashboards and student surveys.

The role is offered from 0.7 FTE - 1.0 FTE and will be required to be delivered over 5 days.
