Do you enjoy collecting and analysing data?

The Centre for Learning and Teaching is looking to appoint a hardworking and motivated Student Evaluation and Insight Coordinator to support the operational delivery, collection, analysis and reporting of student evaluations and surveys, and additional student learning and feedback data, as aligned to the University’s Student Voice Framework.

Working closely with the Student Engagement Manager and key partners across both the University and Students' Union, the successful applicant will play a vital role in the oversight and management of student surveys. The role will also analyse complex survey results providing insight to a range of colleagues across the institution.

The postholder will also work closely with staff and students in the faculties / School and departments as well as staff in professional services, to increase support around informed student data usage and responses to feedback to ensure meaningful impact on quality assurance and enhancement of courses.

We expect applicants to possess:

  • Excellent data analysis skills
  • Proficient knowledge of excel and online survey tools
  • Experience in aspects of business analytics such as data dashboards and visualisation are desirable

Our department is a widely respected and high-performing professional service which works with all subject departments, as well as other support services, to deliver world-class advice in learning and teaching. It consists of four teams, who all work closely on a wide range of activities and events. The Curriculum Development and Academic Staff Development teams are engaged in key institutional projects and activities, and have a reputation for the high-quality, informed, and practical approaches to enhancing practice they provide to stakeholders. The Student Engagement team play a central role working with both staff and students to gather and report on student feedback and opinions to help us to monitor and improve the learning and teaching experience at Bath. The Centre is also home to the Technology Enhanced Learning Team, who provide pedagogical and technical expertise.
