Come and join our Digital, Data & Technology Group (DDaT) who are seeking for a Software Licensing Coordinator to join the Software Licensing Team.

About the role 

The Software Licensing team manages a large and challenging portfolio of work that are a key resource, helping the University to deliver world-leading research and teaching across the organisation. 

This essential role requires working collaboratively in a small team to deliver services to staff and students in manner that is precise, professional and supportive. 

The main responsibility of this role is to review agreements/terms and conditions and providing advice to customers across the University, you will review the licensing aspect of all software requests, ensuring that the University uses software in accordance with licence terms and optimises its software assets. 

You will contribute software licensing expertise and undertake activities on departmental and university projects that require licensing input. Create and maintain appropriate internal documentation for the software titles licensed to the university and maintain the licensing information for the Software Catalogue held by DDaT.

This role is offered on a full time (36.5 hours per week) permanent basis.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all areas
  • Ability to apply judgment and make decisions
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with our customers and suppliers.
  • Flexible approach to tasks with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks whilst maintaining accuracy
  • Capable of applying own initiative to address new and changing situations
