IAAPS is a £70m investment in research and innovation designed to deliver the technology and skills for future generations of sustainable, ultra-low emission vehicles. IAAPS fast-paced and open innovation model will bring together industry partners large and small, leading academics, and to conduct transformational research with world-class research infrastructure and people. IAAPS will host a range of state-of-the-art experimental research platforms to enable precise systems-level investigations, in particular under real-world driving conditions.

We are looking for an experienced finance professional to join the operational team responsible for the set up of IAAPS. This new fixed-term role will provide critical input and commercial advice to the programme team. The role would suit a finance professional who would relish the opportunity to be part of an operational team and really understand the commercial drivers and landscape motivating the decisions that need to be made and processes to be designed. This role is a finance lead, but the impact of the role spans across the programme, therefore a cross-disciplinary approach is critical.

Strong business-partnering skills and experience of developing and implementing new systems and process are essential. The role reports to the Programme Director and will be part of a small, agile and dynamic operational team.

This post is full time(36.5 hours per week) and is being offered on a fixed term contract basis with an anticipated expiry date of 8 January 2021.

For informal conversations about the role, please contact Gavin Edwards, Programme Director gje30@bath.ac.uk.
