This is a great opportunity for a technical professional to join the Client Platform Engineering team as a Systems Administrator at the University of Bath. The Client Platform Engineering team is a cross-platform team responsible for both the design and smooth operation of the University’s end user computing infrastructure at the University, which includes:

  • Deployment and management of all operating systems, desktop or mobile (e.g. Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, iOS) using tools such as Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager & Intune, JAMF Pro & Puppet.
  • Remote virtual computing infrastructure for Windows & Linux.
  • Deployment and management of software, across operating systems.
  • Deployment and management of OS, security and application updates
  • Deployment and management of Azure services, such as Windows Virtual Desktop
  • Cross platform services that underpin the OS or Software experience, including relevant licensing infrastructure so that software functions as expected.
