Between June and September, the ahs department at the University becomes Bath’s biggest hotel with over 3000 rooms. The following role relates to providing our guests and conferences with the very best the University of Bath can offer.

During the summer months, the University facilities are available for events hire to internal and external clients and we operate a very busy summer period hosting a wide variety of commercial business.

This role will require you to be fully conversant in Microsoft Office and have fantastic organisational skills. You will be given full training on other software systems that we rely on, however a general competency in computer use is essential.

Main duties and responsibilities (but not limited to)

  • Support the Sales & Events team in the preparation for, processing of and hosting of all commercial activity between June and September.
  • Professional communication with clients and liaising with stakeholders
  • Deliver exceptional levels of customer service at all times leaving a positive impression on clients and colleagues alike.
  • Updating online systems accurately.

Start Dates: starting date 4th June 2018 (8 week contract available and 14 week contract available)

Rate of pay: £8.28 per hour (CW2) plus holiday pay.

Hours of work: these roles will include evening and weekend work and are based on working 5 out of 7 days a week. 36.5 hours per week as standard.
