The Professorial Remuneration Procedure defines a set of processes for the financial remuneration of all members of the Professoriate. Refer to the documents attached for details of the procedure.

There are three different paths through which an individual might apply for progression, summarised below. More information can be found in the procedure and guidance documents.

Automatic progression

• Applied to spine points 53 -55. If you are on spine point 56 you will need to apply for pay progression

'within band' pay progression

• Use Form A
• This includes any progression from the Introductory Zone further into the Amber band.

'between bands' progression

• Please use Form B
• This is to move from any spine point within Amber to Green, or Green to Blue.
