Student health and safety

Where to get information about health and safety if you’re a student

COVID-19

There's plenty of information available online about how to be safe on campus during the COVID-19 pandemic, which includes information about:

  • the changes we’ve made to the campus

  • social distancing

  • face coverings

  • COVID-19 symptoms

  • self-isolating

Fieldwork, Work Placements, Study Abroad and Overseas Travel

You can access current University health and safety guidance if you are due to undertake one of these off-campus activities:

Health and Safety Policy Statement

The University’s Health and Safety Policy Statement is available online and is also displayed throughout the campus.

If you have any concerns about health and safety, you should discuss these with your Personal Tutor or Director of Studies. Where necessary, they will contact the University’s Safety Health and Employee Wellbeing (SHEW) Service for advice.
