SWDTC Postgraduate Research Placements Website Launched
26 September 2012
As part of the Economic and Social
Research Council (ESRC) South West Doctoral Training Centre (SWDTC), the Faculty welcomes the
launching of the
SWDTC Postgraduate Research placements
website.
The website provides practical information for placement providers, MRes, MPhil and PhD students and staff about the SWDTC Placement Scheme, which will contribute to the collaboration between the external organisations and the Faculty. We welcome placement proposals from government offices, companies, charities, NGOs and other organisations.
With more than 550 well trained research students in the Humanities and Social Sciences, the Faculty is looking forward to sharing the fresh talent with external organisation, and to forging a strong link between academic and non-academic sector.
Please contact Shan Bradley-Cong, SWDTC Placement Officer if you are:
- An MRes, MPhil or PhD student who wishes to take a placement as part of your research training or work experience
- A member of staff who has contacts which could be developed into placements
- An external organisation who recruits research placement students
