3rd working paper from the Scenarios workstream published
"Using scenarios to bring about low carbon energy transitions: Lessons from transitions theory and the scenario building tradition" is the third paper in a series which aims to provide insights into the use of scenarios for informing low carbon energy policy. This third working paper combines insights from the earlier two paper on scenarios (Paper 1: exploring the broader history of scenario building and highlighting points of best practice; Paper 2: developing a typology to review recent UK and international low carbon energy scenario), along with insights from the literature on technological transitions, to make suggestions for the future use of scenario thinking in low carbon energy studies.
