Our degrees are designed to prepare students for a rewarding career in engineering. All programmes are accredited and provide a secure route to gaining Chartered Engineer status.

The 2008 Research Assessment Exercise rated the majority of our research as world-leading or internationally excellent.
Our academic staff, research fellows, post-doctoral researchers and PhD students carry out acclaimed work and publish in international journals. We also have several prestigious research centres.
