This page will be regularly updated with new resources over the coming weeks.
Event: 'From Awareness to Action'
This all staff event will explore what it means to embed Disability and neurodivergence inclusion across our University community.
- Wednesday 25 November
- 12:15 - 1:15pm
- Online via Teams
We will be joined by Jamie Shields and Celia Chartres-Aris from Disabled By Society. They will use lived experience, storytelling and open conversation to challenge assumptions, explore ableism and consider the role we all play in creating a more inclusive environment.
We are pleased to also be joined by Dr Keren MacLennan from our Department of Psychology. Dr MacLennan will explain the history of how we perceive and understand disability, from the medical model to the social model.
