The recent reorganisation was an opportunity to rethink where activities and resources should belong. This article outlines where to find them now.
Whilst two new departments were created – Planning, Performance & Strategic Change and Risk, Resilience & Compliance – some activities had a better natural fit elsewhere.
Academic Workload Allocation Management
Academic Workload Allocation Management now belongs with Human Resources.
Their resources now include the Workload Allocation Management System (WAMS) and it's supporting guidance documents.
Space Management Policy
The Space Management Policy outlines our approach to the development, maintenance and effective use of our physical estate. Accountability for this activity now lies with Campus Infrastructure.
Management meetings
These are coordinated by the Vice-Chancellor’s Office, and include:
- University Executive Board – this board is advisory to the Vice-Chancellor and President
- University Executive Board Standing Group – this board is also advisory to the Vice-Chancellor and President
- Heads of Department and Associate Deans meetings – a briefing and consultative forum for Heads of Department, Associate Deans and Directors of Professional Services

The business case process and templates for submission of business cases are under review.
