International Foundation Pathways to Bath

Find out about opportunities for international students to join our undergraduate degrees through foundation courses.

What is a foundation programme?

A route to Undergraduate courses at Bath when your current qualifications may not be suitable.

Foundation years or programmes are courses designed to support students who are not yet suitably prepared for direct entry to university study.

If you have completed your secondary education in your own country and are unable to be considered for our undergraduate courses, you may want to consider a foundation pathway.

With the exception of our MPharm Pharmacy with Preparatory Year course (not available to international students), the University of Bath does not currently offer its own foundation pathway.

We do consider students who have studied suitable courses elsewhere, including through our partners.
