Blue Be Well Survey logo

The Be Well Survey is an internal confidential survey run jointly between the University of Bath and the Students’ Union (SU) and is sent to all students.

Previous students gave their feedback in the Be Well Survey which has shaped your experience of support at the University. You can help your own cohort and future students by being honest about what is good and what could be improved.

When you can complete the Be Well Survey

The Be Well Survey is open in Semester 1 every academic year.

All students are eligible to participate in the Be Well Survey 2025. You can still take part if you have never accessed student support.

The 2025 survey is open from Monday 20 October 2025 and closes at 23:59 on Sunday 9 November 2025.

Questions asked

The Be Well Survey asks a variety of questions about mental health and wellbeing.

You can see the questions asked in the Be Well Survey. They include:

  • your life at the moment
  • drug use
  • your wellbeing
  • your mental health
  • experience of harassment
  • university student support

Giving constructive feedback

Giving constructive and detailed feedback in the open comments is most helpful for staff to make changes and improvements. You may recognise the characteristics of constructive feedback from the feedback you receive on your own academic work:

  • honest
  • specific
  • respectful
  • solution-focused
  • includes the good and the bad
  • how to do better next time

Your responses will be kept anonymous unless they breach the University's Dignity & Respect Policy and Procedure or raise concerns about the health or wellbeing of you or another person. Offensive or discriminatory comments will be investigated.
