Have your say - give feedback on your course

Students are invited to provide feedback on their course. Share your opinions to help us shape the future of our University.

Sharing your views in student surveys

The University and the Students' Union (SU) welcome feedback, opinions and comments from our student community.

Each year we ask all our students to complete student surveys to find out about your experience of studying at Bath. This is your opportunity to provide feedback about what you like and what you think we could improve. Your feedback helps us to continually develop and enhance our learning and teaching, our student services, and our campus facilities.

By giving us your opinions, you could win a prize. Prizes vary depending on the survey. Previous prizes have included: £250 cash, luxury afternoon tea at the Pump Rooms and a Thermae Bath Spa package. Find out more about the prizes, terms and conditions.

All institutional surveys for the 2023/24 academic year are now closed:

NSS gives you the opportunity to voice your experience of your entire undergraduate course at Bath - both what you liked and what you think could be improved. Your feedback will be used to help shape the future for your fellow students. It is an influential, widely recognised and authoritative national survey that gives students a powerful collective voice.

The 2024 survey is now closed.

Non-final undergraduate feedback

If you are in your first or second year of undergraduate study and not currently on placement, you could be eligible to complete the Course-level survey.

The Course-level survey replaces the United Kingdom Engagement Survey (UKES) that was piloted in 2024 in certain departments. The new survey gives you the opportunity to provide feedback about your undergraduate experience so far this academic year, including your opinions about interacting with others, critical thinking, reflecting on and connecting content and assessment and feedback.

This new survey will run in 2025.

Postgraduate taught student feedback

If you are studying a taught postgraduate course, you could be eligible to complete the Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES).
