The National Student Survey (NSS) is an independent anonymous survey run by the Office for Students and is sent to final year undergraduates across the UK. It asks them about their course experience.
Previous students gave their feedback in the NSS which has shaped your experience at the University. You can do the same for future students by being honest about what is good and what could be improved.
As well as enhancing the student experience, your responses will help future students decide where they want to study at university.
The NSS is open in Semester 2 every academic year.

The OfS has commissioned a pilot Sexual Misconduct Survey to understand the incidence or sexual misconduct experienced by students in higher education. You will be invited to participate in the survey once you have completed the NSS. It is entirely optional and your responses will be anonymous to the University of Bath.
The OfS has more guidance about the survey and the University and Students' Union (SU) offers specific support for this topic.
Giving constructive and detailed feedback in the open comments is most helpful for staff to make changes and improvements. You may recognise the characteristics of constructive feedback from the feedback you receive on your own work:
Although your responses are anonymous, your comments must be in line with the University's Dignity & Respect Policy and Procedure. Offensive or discriminatory comments will be investigated.
