Unibuddy Community

Unibuddy Community provides an official space for you to meet and get to know other new international students before you arrive at the University of Bath.

Get to know other new international students

Unibuddy Community is an online platform which helps you connect with other future students at the University of Bath.

Through Unibuddy community you can:

  • Discover other students thinking of studying at Bath from your region
  • Chat to others about your expectations of the course
  • Learn about the local area
  • Discuss plans for joining societies and embracing student life.
  • Connect with others to aid your transition to university life.

By joining Unibuddy Community, you will meet other international students virtually and get to know each other before you start your course – it’s a great way to link up, feel settled in and more at home here from the day you arrive. You will also be able to share ideas, ask questions and build new relationships.

This is just one way that we help you feel part of our diverse, vibrant student community from all over the world with a wide range of cultures, ideas and beliefs.

Accessing Unibuddy Community

Once you've been made an offer to study with us, you should then receive an email containing a registration link for Unibuddy Community. This link will direct you towards downloading the Unibuddy Community app, where you will create an account. Once your account has been created, you will be able to join the available groups created by the University of Bath.

If you are having difficulties logging in, please contact the Unibuddy team using the email and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Inbox: this is where you will see all your available chats for the groups that you have joined. At first, this will be empty as you will need to use the explore feature to join a group we created.

Explore: Here, you will see the groups University of Bath staff have created for students to join; simply select a group that appeals to you and click the ‘join’ button.

Updates: This is where information you can view events or opportunities we think you’ll be interested in.
