Real benefits for your organisation

Our placement scheme offers a mutually beneficial experience for employers and students.

Studying subjects such as economics, education, politics, psychology, modern languages and sports science, our students have a broad range of knowledge and skills.

This, alongside teaching influenced by up-to-date research, ensures they bring new insights and a real understanding of how the latest industry developments impact the workplace.

'Our relationship with the University of Bath gives us access to undergraduate students who are hungry for the opportunity to develop themselves and give as much as they take. As a result it’s a pleasure to support their development and a source of great satisfaction to see them grow during their time with us.' - Phillip Dicks, Director at Performance Advantage Ltd.

How our placements work

Most of our undergraduate courses, and some of our postgraduate taught courses, give students the opportunity to go on a placement as part of their degree.

Undergraduate placements

Our undergraduate students study a wide range of courses across our academic departments.

The majority of our placements run for 30 to 40 weeks, starting between June and September. A smaller number start between January and March. Some courses offer short-term placement opportunities (minimum 12 weeks).

Our students work in the UK or internationally, depending on the course they study.
