Embedding sustainability into education and students' lives is a core value at Bath

Join us for this interactive session led by Climate Action Learning & Teaching Liaison, Professor Steve Cayzer, and Curriculum and Academic Developer from the Centre for Learning and Teaching, Dr Richard Mason.

By attending, you will gain an informative insight into the power of embedding sustainability into your teaching and the resources available at the University of Bath to support you.

This 90-minute session will be filled with engaging discussions, interactive activities, and practical tips on incorporating sustainability into education. This workshop will support you to embed sustainability into your teaching, work area and department.

Throughout the hybrid event, you will:

  • explore how sustainability connects with the University’s goals and get practical tips on embedding it in your teaching and work area
  • learn useful tools, sustainability frameworks, and ways to measure impact
  • discover teaching methods, like project-based learning, to get students thinking about sustainability, and to provide them with applied learning experiences
  • develop a sustainability action plan for teaching and in your work area
  • take away ideas for engaging students and colleagues in creating a sustainable future

Sustainability is a key theme of curriculum transformation and this workshop will be a great opportunity to build confidence and capacity to ensure this is part of your teaching practice.

Book your place on this in-person workshop.

If you are taking part in Green Impact, you will find out how to earn points in each of the academic and research criteria and be able to ask any questions around this.
