By attending, you will gain an informative insight into the power of embedding sustainability into your teaching and the resources available at the University of Bath to support you.
This 90-minute session will be filled with engaging discussions, interactive activities, and practical tips on incorporating sustainability into education. This workshop will support you to embed sustainability into your teaching, work area and department.
Throughout the hybrid event, you will:
- explore how sustainability connects with the University’s goals and get practical tips on embedding it in your teaching and work area
- learn useful tools, sustainability frameworks, and ways to measure impact
- discover teaching methods, like project-based learning, to get students thinking about sustainability, and to provide them with applied learning experiences
- develop a sustainability action plan for teaching and in your work area
- take away ideas for engaging students and colleagues in creating a sustainable future
Sustainability is a key theme of curriculum transformation and this workshop will be a great opportunity to build confidence and capacity to ensure this is part of your teaching practice.
