Offer Holder Day

This event should be written in title case and without a hyphen. Don't use ‘offer holder day’ or ‘offer-holder day’. The same applies for 'Virtual Offer Holder Day'.

Offer holder

A person who has received an offer to study at the University. The word should not be capitalised. Avoid referring to them as an ‘offer holder’ and instead address them personally, for example 'when you receive an offer to study at Bath'.

Offer holder events

This is a broader term used to refer to events for undergraduate offer holders. These events include:

  • Offer Holder Days
  • Department Visit Days
  • Virtual Offer Holder Days

Open Days

When you write about University Open Days, use upper case, not 'open days'.
