Because of the current circumstances involving Coronavirus (COVID-19) we're working at home to government guidelines. This means we're unfortunately not able to send endorsed, certified or duplicate certificates at the moment. We'll update this page again when we're able to send them out.
Our normal process is set out below but if you have any questions relating to this please contact us.
How to get an endorsed or certified copy of your certificate
If you require an endorsed/certified copy of your certificate you will need to send us a copy of your certificate first to have it certified. We will then verify and certify this and post/email it to the address that you provide.
Please note you will need to enclose a copy of photo ID (e.g. a driving licence or passport) when making this request.
How to get a duplicate certificate
The University will only produce a duplicate certificate if the original has been lost/stolen or destroyed. There is currently no charge for this service but there is a limit of one duplicate per award.
To comply with Data Protection Act we will need a signed letter to confirm what has happened to the original and to request a duplicate. The letter can be posted or scanned and emailed. The letter must contain the following:
- Your full name (and name when graduated if this has changed)
- Date of birth
- Graduation details (course and year)
- The address you would like the duplicate sent to
- A handwritten signature (the letter can be hand signed and scanned)
- A scanned copy of photo ID e.g. driving licence or passport
Your request will then be processed and sent for production (please note the turnaround time is approx. one month).
