When to pay your fees

We will email you with an offer of accommodation. Once you receive this you can accept your contract and pay your fees at the same time.

You can log in and check your balance online at any time.

Your acceptance of your accommodation contract is only valid if you supply payment details. You cannot accept without them.

Invoice due dates for 2023/24 are:

  • 23 September 2023
  • 6 January 2024
  • 13 April 2024
  • 1 August 2024 (Postgraduate contracts only)

If you are paying by direct debit, payment collection dates are:

  • 11 October 2023
  • 10 January 2024
  • 17 April 2024
  • 5 August 2024 (Postgraduate contracts only)

How to pay your fees

The following payment options are available:

  • direct debit
  • credit card
  • debit card
  • bank transfer
  • international payments

Depending on your method of payment, you can choose to pay your fees in full or in instalments.

As an undergraduate student, if you do not pay your fees in full you will pay them in three instalments.

As a postgraduate student, if you do not pay your fees in full you will pay them in four instalments.

You can request to move rooms by completing our online form.

About the Accommodation Bursary

Students with a household income of up to £30,000 are eligible for a Bath Bursary or Gold Scholarship, and can receive £750 off their first-year accommodation costs as part of their funding packages. Those with a household income of between £30,000 and £60,000 are eligible for an accommodation reduction of up to £1,000. Paying for casual let accommodation bookings

If you are a student, and wish to pay by credit or debit card, you will be able to make payment via your accommodation portal.

If you are a student that needs to pay by bank transfer you can pay by Flywire.

If you are an external guest and need to pay by credit or debit card, or bank transfer, you will need to pay Flywire. You will need to use your email address to make payment and use the student number 000000000.

Using Flywire to make a casual payment you will need to select University of Bath Accommodation as the institution you want to pay.

You will also need to provide your country and if you prefer to pay by bank transfer or debit card.

You will not need to list your room number unless you have been provided with this, you will just need to enter the name of the accommodation building you will be staying in which you will find in your provisional booking email.
