Matthew is an International Affairs Adviser at the law firm Squire Patton Boggs. He advises the firm’s clients on all aspects of international political risk.

During his career, he has also:

• led External Affairs at Vodafone
• served as a member of the Vodafone Group Executive Committee
• served as a member of the British Diplomatic Service
• held numerous positions in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and Cabinet Office
• served as Her Majesty’s Ambassador to Finland
