Why employ a placement student?
- Placements can be seen as an extended interview for both parties and are a very cost effective way of recruiting
- Offer specialised knowledge
- Provide an external viewpoint
- Offer international knowledge
- Special project work
What is a suitable placement?
There is no hard and fast rule as to what type of work is suitable since a great deal depends on the student’s own maturity, skills and abilities, and the requirements of the organization.
Overall, placements should provide the opportunity for students to apply and develop, in a practical business environment, the skills and knowledge they have gained during the course, and also help them to acquire new skills.
What kinds of organisations offer placements?
We work with large, medium and small organisations, including public sector bodies and charities.
