Undertaking an MBA is a huge decision, and for most of you thoughts about your career are at the heart of that decision.

The MBA Career Development Service is on hand throughout the period of your studies to support you in taking stock, in planning your career and in identifying new goals and opportunities.

These web pages will give you an insight into the range of career development services that are available to you. Our services include:

  • An online virtual careers centre providing access to a wide range of information and services
  • One-to-one career coaching
  • Career development workshops
  • Online searchable CV platform
  • Online self assessment tools
  • A range of networking opportunities

Career development activities take place at core times in the curriculum as well as through ongoing support during the academic year. Come and talk to the MBA Career Development Manager at any time to discuss your needs. You can find us in 8 W3.36

How do you access our services?

Drop-ins

You can drop in to see us any time during normal office hours, and if you have a quick question we’ll be happy to assist you.

Appointments

If you need to discuss a career concern in depth you can make an appointment for a one to one meeting using the online booking facility. This will give you a confidential meeting with the Career Development Manager or, occasionally, one of our associate team of career coaches. These meetings are for up to one hour, and give you the opportunity to discuss in depth any issues on your mind related to careers and work.
