The Relationship Between Bullying and Mental Health

What is involved

We are conducting research which aims to further our understanding of the relationship between bullying and mental health problems. Bullying is often related to anxiety but so far, there has been little attention paid to the way in which bullying can trigger mental disorders. Thus, we are generally interested in hearing about your experiences of bullying and the effects that it may have had on your childhood. We would greatly appreciate it if you could consider taking the time to answer a few questionnaires. Although there are several questionnaires that will require completion, they can all be accessed online and should not take too much of your time.

The information you provide will be kept strictly confidential and only be accessed by members of the research team. Also, please note that if you participate your answers will remain completely anonymous since your signed consent form and personal details will be detached from the questionnaire. Participation in this research is entirely voluntary, and you will be at liberty to withdraw your participation at any time, without giving any explanation or reason for doing so. We will ensure that individual participation will not be identifiable in any publications which may result from this study.
