Department for Health offer holder events

Experience what it'll be like to study your chosen sport, exercise and health course at Bath. You must have an undergraduate degree offer to attend.

Join us at an offer holder event

We offer in-person and virtual offer holder events that cover our sport, exercise and health courses.

After you receive an offer to study one of our undergraduate sport, exercise and health courses, you can attend an offer holder event.

You can choose from:

  • an in-person Offer Holder Day, which will take place on our University of Bath campus
  • a Virtual Offer Holder Day, which you’ll be able to attend online from anywhere in the world

You don’t have to accept your offer to attend an offer holder event.

2026 offer holder event dates

You can choose from a range of different dates and offer holder events across our courses. We advise that you book early to make sure you get a place on your preferred day.

Health and Exercise Science, Sport and Exercise Science, and Sport Management and Coaching

If you are a BSc (Hons) Health and Exercise Science, BSc/MSci (Hons) Sport and Exercise Science, or BSc (Hons) Sport Management and Coaching offer holder, you'll be able to choose one of three offer holder event dates in 2026:

  • Saturday 28 March (Virtual Offer Holder Day only)
  • Friday 10 April
  • Saturday 25 April

Sport (Sports Performance)

If you are a FdSc Sport (Sports Performance) offer holder, you can attend an in-person Offer Holder day on Saturday 25 April.

We do not offer a Virtual Open Day for this course.

Attending an offer holder event

All of our 2026 dates include University and Department-level sessions to help you make an informed decision about studying at Bath. We advise that you book early to make sure you get a place.

If you choose an in-person Offer Holder Day, you'll receive information about travel, campus accessibility, and where to go when you get here. For Virtual Offer Holder Days, we’ll give you details and guidance for attending online.

Please note: You need to register for your chosen offer holder event using the link in your invitation email. The subject line for this email was 'Congratulations on your offer! Join us at an Offer Holder Event'.

In-person Offer Holder Days will take place between approximately 9.30am and 4pm. Virtual Offer Holder Days will take place either in the morning or the afternoon on their chosen date. We will add exact timings and timetables to this page soon.

In-person Offer Holder Days

At an in-person OHD, you can experience our campus, speak to staff and students, and see the places that you’ll live and study in during your time with us.

The day will consist of University and Department-level sessions.

During University-level sessions, you will:

  • join a campus tour
  • view our accommodation 1
  • hear about our student support
  • visit the Information Fair to learn more about things like careers and employability opportunities, admissions, and campus facilities

At Department-level, you’ll spend time with the Department for Health, which runs our sport, exercise and health courses.

During this, you’ll:

  • speak to sport, exercise and health students and teaching staff
  • find out more about the course you're interested in, including specific opportunities like professional placements and studying abroad during your degree
  • view the study spaces you’ll be able to use when you arrive at Bath

Virtual Offer Holder Days

Virtual Offer Holder Days give you the chance to experience Bath, no matter where you are.

They are very similar to in-person Offer Holder Days. You’ll receive the same University and Department-level information to help you get a better idea of what life as a student at Bath is like.

A Virtual Offer Holder Day includes:

  • an introductory talk, which includes information about our campus and facilities
  • talks from teaching staff about your course
  • a Q&A session
