Gain real-world experience with a consultancy project

You can choose to complete a consultancy project instead of a traditional dissertation.

Consultancy projects take place with professional organisations, giving you the chance to demonstrate your skills and expertise in a practical way as part of your degree.

Your project could be to overcome a challenge faced by a company or further an organisation's current research, or you could even apply your own independent research to complement their aims.

Students have previously completed their projects with:

  • Bath Rugby Club
  • Bristol City Football Club
  • Juventus Academy, Shanghai (China)
  • Kinetic Foundation
  • Nike (China)
  • Rugby Players Association (RPA)
  • SportWorks
  • UK Sport

It’ll be your responsibility to find a suitable consultancy project opportunity, but you’ll benefit from our well-established business connections across the sports industry, both in the UK and overseas.
