Overview
SPINS-UK (Science Possibilities Investigating Neutron Stars in the UK) is a consortium of astrophysicists involved in neutron star and related science, including dense matter physics, multi-wavelength astronomy, theoretical astrophysics, and gravitational-wave astrophysics. The purpose of this meeting is to provide an opportunity to gather senior and early-career UK-based scientists, and particularly their students, to meet and discuss new results in neutron star science. The scientific programme of SPINS-UK spans the full breadth of the NS community, so that specialists in each area leave with a working understanding of progress in adjacent areas in neutron star science.
