Careers with Languages Panel
A particular highlight of the day will be our Careers with Languages Panel, featuring Modern Languages graduates from the University of Bath.
During the panel, our alumni will share their inspiring career journeys. They will discuss how studying languages at Bath prepared them, not only to become confident and fluent linguists, but also globally engaged graduates with a deep understanding of the histories, cultures and politics of the countries they studied.
They'll also share how a Modern Languages degree develops the knowledge, skills and attitudes needed to succeed in careers across Europe and around the world.
The importance of languages
More than ever, languages matter. In an increasingly interconnected world and with strengthening UK–EU relationships creating new opportunities for international careers, language skills are invaluable.
The Bath Language Show will highlight the impact, the relevance and the importance languages have across business, diplomacy, politics, education, culture and countless global industries.
We look forward to welcoming you in November to the University of Bath, to celebrate the power of languages and discover how they can open doors to a world of opportunities.
