Student Living Support

We want to make your life in University accommodation during your time at Bath as comfortable as possible.

Student Living has a Residence Life programme to help you get the most from living in your accommodation in the city.

The social events and activities are a great way to meet other students and explore your new surroundings. Support is available from the Student Living Assistants who will regularly check in with you and your flat mates or you can schedule a meeting with them.

New for 2022 - free classes at Toniq Gym

For all students living in University managed accommodation...we have partnered with TONIQ Gym, located next to the City Accommodation Centre, to offer you free gym classes for the duration of your accommodation contract! From 03 October 2022 you will receive regular credits, which you can use to book exclusive free classes at Toniq Gym.

These will be shared to your MS Teams for your halls. You will also have access to exclusive heavily reduced rates for additional classes, as well as regular invites to wellbeing and lifestyle student events at the venue.

Living in Bath as a student

Living in the city gives you immediate access to shops, cafes, restaurants, bars, pubs and other attractions. Our city accommodation is close to the railway and bus stations, making it easy to travel to campus and beyond.

Postgraduate living

When you move into your postgraduate University accommodation, you’ll get more than a room – you become part of our ready-made community of postgraduate students from across the world.

Our postgraduate accommodation is based in the beautiful city of Bath. Your home is just a short bus ride away from our leafy campus, with all of the exciting attractions and amenities of the city right on your doorstep.

Our Student Living Support team run a residence life programme to support your transition into life in Bath, develop a sense of community and help you get the best student experience from your time living with us.

Student Living Assistants are current students who previously lived in halls, who are on hand to help you settle in. We have a designated postgraduate Student Living Assistant team to help you during your time here.

Bath is generally a safe city, but when you choose University accommodation you’ll also get the support of our Security team, who are available 24/7 should you need them.
