The Bath Outreach Network is a community of practice for those across the University engaged in outreach to share experiences, questions, and best practice. Our goal is to foster collaboration and communication in order to make our outreach more consistent, high-quality, and impactful.

Activities covered by this network mostly include outreach to schools and school-age children, but outreach to other audiences is welcome too. The network is coordinated by the Access, Recruitment and Outreach team, so there is a particular focus on widening access with our outreach.

The Bath Outreach Network is hosted in a Teams group, which anyone in the University can request to join. As well as being a forum to share experiences and ask questions, this is where we share opportunities to take part in delivering outreach organised by the Access, Recruitment, Outreach team.

We also hold bi-monthly meetings (alternating online and in-person) to allow members to meet, network, and collaborate.
