We support all aspects of research from help with preparing research proposals to advising on involving the public in research for Research Delivery Network (RDN) Portfolio eligible studies.

We provide research governance services; and support researchers with queries regarding regulatory approvals for studies that involve local wider care settings (GP practices, community health and care organisations, hospices, care homes, schools, pharmacies, local authorities).

We advise researchers on involving the public in health related research, which is a requirement for many health research funding bodies and streams; and we also support members of the public who would like to participate in health related research.

We also offer practical assistance on identifying and attributing the various costs, such as excess treatment costs (ETCs) and service support costs (SSCs), associated with research involving wider care settings.

Through our network of partners such as local Universities, the BSW Integrated Care Board (ICB), community health and care providers, hospices and local authorities; we promote and disseminate research to raise awareness, to help in securing funding for valued research in the local area and to build relationships between researchers and healthcare professionals within the local area.
