Below you can find out how to accept your offer via UCAS and the things you need to do to start your journey with the University.

You will need to accept your offer by submitting a Clearing choice via UCAS. You can find out more by watching the video below. If you cannot find the course listed, you will need to type in the course code. You can find these on the 'Application information' section of the university course pages

For Modern Languages, you will need to put the variant of the course (i.e. which languages you wish to study) in the further information section.

Once you've had your place at Bath confirmed, you can apply for accommodation. Accommodation for Clearing students is guaranteed either in University owned accommodation or with one of our partners and the waiting list will open on 19 August.

You will receive an email in the following weeks with your registration and induction information but if you are interested in what will happen, you can find out about your first weeks at Bath here.

We offer a range of scholarships and bursaries at the University of Bath both for our UK students and International students. Each funding option has specific eligibility criteria and are for different purposes. Some are for specific courses or for particular reasons such as our Accommodation bursary.

Students coming to the University of Bath through Clearing are able to be considered for all our scholarships and bursaries.

Pre-departure webinars

We will be holding several Pre-departure webinars for our incoming students over the next few weeks. Each session will cover a number of topics, including:

  • practical information on arriving in Bath from overseas or elsewhere in the UK
  • finalising your accommodation
  • living in the city
  • Welcome week and your first few weeks
  • societies, sport and social opportunities available

We will also be joined by current students to share their experiences of studying at Bath. You will have a chance to put your questions to them, as well as university staff. Dates will be confirmed shortly and you will be contacted about this via email.
