Workshops for the planet rally
Take action through a series of interactive workshops that build your skills, broaden your perspective, and empower you to make a positive difference in your life. Explore the workshops below and sign up by clicking on the event titles.
Climate: Explore the causes and impacts of climate change through the Climate Fresk, a fun and collaborative workshop based on science. Build your understanding of the climate crisis, connect key concepts, and identify meaningful opportunities for action.
Biodiversity: Through this workshop, discover how ecosystems function, the vital services they provide to people and businesses, and the threats currently facing nature and habitats. By exploring the links between biodiversity, human activity and the natural world, you will uncover practical actions that can help address biodiversity loss.
Built environment: Through a structured and engaging format, you will explore the links between construction, the built environment and climate change, developing a clearer understanding of the sector's impacts and challenges. You will leave with a better understanding of the built environment's significant contribution to global greenhouse gas emissions.
Energy: Energy is the fuel of modern society, so it’s vital to approach the subject with perspective, impartiality and moderation. That’s the aim of the Energy Collage. The workshop is played in teams where players will take part in five game modules, each dealing with a different aspect of current energy issues.
Circular economy: This workshop will give you insight into our current economic model and its impacts on people and the planet, while exploring an alternative circular model that uses fewer resources, designs out waste and respects planetary boundaries.

Hear from Fairtrade coffee producer, Yesenia Palacios, and industry experts from Tony's Chocolonely and Cafédirect. Discover how Fairtrade supports communities, explore ethical supply chains and sustainable farming, and gain insight into global sustainability challenges and solutions.

An introductory workshop open for all lab users, exploring sustainable lab practices and how you can take action through LEAF.
