Experience a student-friendly city

Bath, located among the beautiful rolling green hills of South West England, is known across the world for its iconic buildings and culture. The city is even recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, thanks to its Roman heritage and Georgian architecture.

But there’s more to Bath than this. A vibrant range of shops, bars and restaurants, music venues, museums, and festivals makes it a great place to live as a student.

Bath is one of the safest cities in England and Wales to study in (The Complete University Guide) and was listed as one of the World's Greatest Places by TIME magazine in 2021. You’ll be able to study in a secure environment and experience life in the UK.

Be part of a well connected campus

The University’s campus is located on the edge of the city. You can travel between the city and the campus easily - either by foot, bike, car, or bus – while local transport links mean you’ll be:

  • 80 minutes from London
  • 15 minutes from Bristol
  • 2 hours from Birmingham

You can drive to Bristol Airport from the University in less than an hour or get a direct coach to Heathrow Airport from the city centre. Within the city, most key locations are in cycling or walking distance.

‘Coming here felt like really being at home straight away; you live on campus and so many other students are in the same boat. I’ve had a good time.’
