A lovely learning environment

Coming from my homeland of Namibia, the UK's highly-rated international qualifications made it ideal for me to study Economics at the University of Bath. It offers a lovely learning environment, with clear course content and helpful, friendly staff.

The latest statistical software

The course allows students to work independently and advance their research skills using the latest statistical software. Having worked for three years prior to starting my master's, it's been a challenge catching up with the basics of mathematical economics, but the pre-sessional course on maths helped enormously.

Useful careers advice

The career service advice has also been particularly useful. I'm aiming to work as an economist in a central bank before working independently.
